Supporting women to lead, coach and change sport in Tasmania
WSRT scholarships exist to remove barriers, open doors and keep women in coaching and leadership roles across Tasmania.
Whether you’re a woman looking to step into coaching, or a supporter wanting to invest in real change — there’s a pathway for you here.
We offer two coaching scholarship programs: Emerging Coaches, along with our Women in Sport Coaching program that is offered in partnership with the Tasmanian Institute of Sport.

Why this matters in Tasmania
Women face ongoing barriers to entering and remaining in coaching — particularly in regional and island communities.
Cost, travel, isolation and limited access to development opportunities mean too many women step away before reaching their potential. WSRT scholarships are designed to change that.
